Evaluation of the iPaaS Products available in market
For one of my prestigious Customer, I was given the responsibility to analyze the iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) product which would be the best for there Business needs and also keeping in mind the futuristic growth they are expecting across their global due to their globalization strategy. I searched through internet, had discussions with colleagues and friends who had worked on these products/tools, had discussion with Product vendors to get to know the pros and cons on the best iPaaS tools available in the market today. There are many in market, but I restricted to seven products (based on preliminary study)
In addition, I did a study on the Gartner and Forrester reports. Whatever data I have collected I consolidated in a spreadsheet. This sheet with additional white papers on iPaaS helped me to discuss, debate and determine the right tool for the Customer.
Thought this data would be helpful for others who are willing to choose the right iPaaS tool for their use.
Gartner scoring points are based on Year 2020/21. You may need to check the latest reports to have a good understanding on where they stand on each critical parameters determined by Gartner

Strong And Weak Points
If you are looking for iPaaS along with a feature centric APIM tool, then Mulesoft would be a good choice. In the same combination I would prefer Microsoft in the second position. But if you are looking for only iPaaS then it depends based on the needs such as data event streams, connectors , EDI support, Orchestration etc..
Informatica and Dell Boomi are very close enough in many of the features/parameters. You many need second level of analysis to determine between these two.
For past few years Workato has tremendously enriched the features and has given a very tough competition to iPaaS leaders such as Mulesoft, Dell Boomi and Informatica. By next year we can expect more from Warkato. He is key player in this area now. I am very much keen to see his growth in coming days.
